Subject: RHIDE screen problems
References: <199704211447 DOT KAA12667 AT delorie DOT com>

I've been having a problem with rhide. When it trys to clear the screen
to either run a compiled program, go to a dos shell, or when I quit, the
screen gets fuzzy. I can't think of any other way to describe the
effect other than it is similar to when I try to set a video resolution
higher than my monitor will support. RHIDE starts fine, and programs
will compile ok from rhide. The only way I have found around this
display problem is to run rhide under Win 95, and switch it from a full
screen to a window before exiting. But even then the display from that
dos prompt can't be cleared (cls just moves the prompt to the top of the
screen). If this problem seems confusing, I'm very sorry, but it's a
strange problem. If it helps, I'm loading Univbe 5.3 from my
autoexec.bat, and my video card has a Cirrus Logic 5446 chip. Thanks in
advance for any help!

Hez
