Both will work (with caveats).  What you ask is perhaps the single most
frequently asked DJGPP question, and so is covered extensively in the
DJGPP Frequently Asked Questions list, available as 'v2/faq20b.zip' from
SimTel mirrors and online at <http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/v2faq/>.  The
question you ask is covered in chapter 10.
