I have seen this.  It is caused by the fact that BibTeX is known to
devour preposterous amounts of stack space.  Try to bump up the stack
size of emacs.exe and see if that helps:

	stubedit emacs.exe minstack=1024k

I'm told that the next version of Emacs will have BibTeX mode that
doesn't need so much stack.
