Standard operating procedure is to boil down the code to the _smallest bit
of code_ that will reproduce the problem.  People have better things to
than go through someone's entire program to figure out what's wrong with
it for them; if he's unwilling to localize the problem, it's less likely
that people are going to be willing to track it down for him.
