This depends on the format of .OBJ files. Standard is OMF, but some
compilers use the same extension for COFF object files, too. So if this is
the case there shouldn't be much of a problem, cause .o files are COFF
object files.

P.S. The only one compiler that I'm sure that makes COFF .OBJs is Microsoft
FORTRAN Powerstation 1.0 (DOS), but I'm sure that there's more.
