Hmm, obviously <g>, what I intended to say there was:

function emacs()
{
   ( unset TERM; <PathToEmacs>/emacs $* )
}

for example:

function emacs()
{
   ( unset TERM; d:/emacs/emacs-19.34-djgpp/bin/emacs $* )
}
