        I'm trying to port a program from DOS to UNIX. I'm writing it in
RHIDE, and everything compiles fine in DOS. However, if I copy my source code
and LIST.MAK file over, I get the following error:

esus:~/www/cgi-bin % make -f LIST.MAK
Make: LIST.MAK: Must be a separator on line 4. Stop.

        I have made sure that there are tabs where they should be, but I don't
get the "line 4" thing. It's a typical RHIDE make file, the the first lines
are:

# This file is automaticaly generated by RHIDE Version 1.2
# created from within RHIDE
vpath_src=mp3dat~1;mp3dat~2;mp3dat~3;mp3dat~4;mp3dat~5;mp3dat~6
vpath %.c $(vpath_src)
vpath %.cc $(vpath_src)
vpath %.cpp $(vpath_src)
vpath %.s $(vpath_src)
vpath %.S $(vpath_src)

        Think the above clip well encompasses the "line 4" problem...so what
is wrong with it? Can I actually do what I'm trying to do (ftp everything to
a UNIX machine and expect it to work)? If ya need more info, just lemme know!

                                                        PV
