OK, it's a Frequently Unasked Question <g>.  It should be in the 
documentation somewhere, though - how about one of those zip file 
comment things?

(By the mail archive times, yes it has been that long.  1992 they start.
I don't know how long it had been going before then.  Doesn't time fly[1]
when you're having fun?)

[1] Not to be confused with "time flies", which as everyone knows like
an arrow (or banana) every now and then...
