If anybody out there can give me a hand, I'd really appreciate it.
I posted a while back about graphics programming with djgpp, and was
referred to allegro. Thank you all for the reference.
I've attempted to compile allegro, and get error after error.
I tried compiling it out of the box -- and there were undefined variable
errors. So I hacked around, and got a few of the files to compile, but I've now been bogged down with many, many warnings and don't have time to fix 'em all.
Is there anybody out there who can send me the .a file for DJGPP/MS-DOS
I guess the binary file would be named allegro.a
or maybe a series of .o files. Could you tar and/or gzip the binaries
and send them
1) By attaching them in email
2) By uuencoding and including in email
3) By anonymously uploading to my site, carhart.com

I sure would appreciate it -- I'm going to keep on looking for problems
with my installation, etc., because I can't imagine that allegro is
buggy..But that's the way it seems.

Thanks all,
