As you discovered, Allegro currently only supports the one joystick. If
you are going to do some work on this, though, is there any chance you
could add the second stick support to the Allegro routines, rather than
writing new code of your own? I can't do this myself due to a lack of
hardware for testing it, but I'd be delighted to point out the things
that would need to be changed...
