IMO, djgpp really really does not need an installer. given that

1. all components of djgpp unzip under the same directory
2. readme.1st contains accurate instructions
3. one of the best FAQ documents comes with it

the hardest part of installing djgpp for me was waiting for the files to
download over a 14.4 modem.

after that it was just a matter of 'd: , cd\djgpp , unzip files one by
one'.

i think any effort spent on an installer would be better spent
elsewhere. however, if you are really intent on it, i would recommend
taking a look at debian's package management system. i guess i am one of
the few people who doesn't boast about having installed linux with win
95 'cause it was just point'n'click (ok, point'n'hit'a'key ;-)
