You are right, of course, but that is one of the long-standing debates
going on in the internet.. should English be the 'standard' language
of the Internet or should it be a full multi-lingual world (probably
using Unicode).  Ah well, I see this person had his question answered
anyhow (in German, nonetheless), so it is pretty much a moot point.
