There isn't any easy way to do that at the moment (you could use some
nasty hacks and call the MIDI driver functions directly from your code,
but that would be fraught with subtle pitfalls). I'm working on it as
part of the improved sound API, though: there's going to be a function
for inserting arbitrary MIDI commands into the output stream in
realtime...

Sounds like a bug :-) Does it only happen with this one picture? If so,
could you send me a copy of the image?
