I've tried and tried to output a byte to COM1 using:
bioscom, and _bios_serialcom (yes I initialized) but haven't gotten
either to work.

I want to send a byte to my HP calculator. I matched the baud and
parity values, but just can't do it in DJGPP. I've gotten it to work in
Borland C++ 4.5 by "outp" to the address. But how can I do it in DJGPP?

Can someone send some simple code to output to COM1?
