Speaking as a newbie I prefer c.o.m.djgpp.newbie maybe newuser. As long
as its obvious.Newbies will see the newbie NG and jump straight in with
their questions.

I second this vote for these NG's

It would just be used for people announcning new libraries or updates to
libraries or software like Rhide.
I sift through the NG several times in a session looking for update info
on Rhide or Allegro and others.
Then I sift out stuff thats graphics related looking for stuff that
might help me, so I don't have to post a question.
Then I sift for stuff that's a newbie type question.How/why does
Rhide/Allegro or djgpp do/use this/that/other.

A simple post by whoever's in charge once a week to each NG listing the
NG's and what they're for and what's suitable for each NG.

I used to be into Quake, I think they have 4 or 5 NG's covering
different aspects of a GAME we're talking about a compiler package,
something infinitley more complex.
So if they can justify those NG's why cant we.
