I'm running a pentium 200, win95, 32 mb of ram, Imagine 128 Series II
4mb.   Univbe 5.3a Registered is running.   Games like quake and duke
work fine in vesa 2.0 modes.  ok.. now for my problemo..

I installed Allegro 2.1.. all vesa & mode 13 examples worked
perfectly.. wow
Then I installed Allegro 2.2 (after deleting Allegro 2.1)..
all mode 13 demos work fine, but vesa.. oh boy..
i can run the vesa examples.. and they smoke .. they rock.. wow..
nice.. but the second i quit out of the examples.. bOOM.. my monitor
goes into dpms mode (power-down state).  screen is blank.. and if i
try to switch alt-tab style winbloze dies.  HELP HELP HELP.
i really want this to get fixed so i can rest and know that my setup
isn't at fault.  by the way, shawn, allegro is a nice piece of
programming.  hehe, and if it is your programming thats the problem..
hehe i don't blame you.. vesa 2.0 is awsome and all, but the standard
is lacking .. lates d00ds..
