Segv fault means you got memory protection error ;). Try gdb to find out
what caused the crash. Did you compile squake? If you did try to set your
graphics card in /etc/vga/libvga.config to simple VGA. It should work
after that. I havn't found out any other ways to make it work.

I haven't seen actually quake on Linux or on MSDOS but I'v played DOOOM.
