Is this at all realistic?  I mean, do we have a volunteer?  (And no, I
*don't* volunteer, sorry.)  IMHO, the burden of moderation is quite
high, and unless we have somebody who is willing to devote the
resources without causing significant slow-down of the turn-around, I
think this discussion is a bit academic.

Not entirely so (which group will you send spam and anti-spam?).  But my
real problem is with drawing the fine line between what belongs and what
doesn't belong to c.o.m.d.  I have clear ideas about that, but I'm not
sure others should comply to my ideas.  With all the deepest respect I
feel to DJ and to everybody else who participates in DJGPP forum, I really
doubt whether we can find somebody who will know the difference well
enough to prevent either some irrelevant messages to slip in, or some
relevant messages to be left out.  Since I am one of those who have
first-hand knowledge of arrangements where the government decides what's
best for me (I'm NOT talking about Israel), I am usually willing to err on
the other side.
