Thus spoke pderbysh AT chat DOT carleton DOT ca (Paul Derbyshire): >I have today discovered two very SEVERE BUGS in ALLEGRO that manifest >themselves when the SOUND features are used. [pointless whining description of alleged bugs deleted] Oddly, I have just recently downloaded Allegro myself and created a small program utilizing play_sample() more or less as described and it works just fine. Also, running Windows-based sound utilities immediately prior and afterward worked quite well with no problems. For my part I would like to thank Shawn Hargreaves for his fine efforts. --------- Douglas Johnson U. of Windsor CS Year III johnsoe AT uwindsor DOT ca http://supernova.uwindsor.ca/people/johnsoe/ Computers, music, sci-fi, POVRAY
