Yuck. You should really upgrade to version 2.01 - it has many many
improvements.

I think this implies that your program is fine under DPMI, in which
case upgrading to v2.01 should fix everything.

Re your code, you should change the return type of the function 
"main" to "int", and use "return" instead of "exit".
