I've uploaded Allegro version 2.2 (filename alleg22.zip) to x2ftp and
the SimTel djgpp archives. It may take a few days to get moved out of
the incoming directories: in the meantime it is available from my web
page, http://www.talula.demon.co.uk/allegro/.
Hopefully this time there will be no troubles with bad register
operands, missing files, or evil spirits lurking between the carriage
returns and linefeeds :-)
One thing that might cause some problems, though, is if you unzip this
on top of a previous Allegro version, because some files have been moved
to different directories. If you have an earlier copy of Allegro, you
should delete it before unzipping version 2.2.
To cut down the phone bills for those of you who already downloaded the
2.2 beta, my web page has an archive containing only the files that
changed between the two versions.
Changes since the 2.2 beta:
Added overloaded versions of the 3D math functions, for use with the
C++ 'fix' class.
TBD/FeR added tweaked 320x600 and 360x600 resolutions to the mode-X
driver.
Matthew Bowie added support for 4-button joysticks.
Dave Thomson added RGB <-> HSV conversion functions.
Added a 'freeze_mouse_flag' variable, that can be used to lock the
pointer to a specific position.
Added a 'key_led_flag' variable, that can be used to prevent the
keyboard LED's updating in response to the capslock, numlock, and
scroll-lock keys.
Assorted bugfixes (trident driver, perspective correct texture
mapping, mode-X screen <-> screen blitting).
