You know, it's very frustrating to write down all those README.dos files, 
just to discover that people don't even bother glancing over them.  
Here's an excerpt from the README.dos inside m4-14b.zip:

    b. Edit info/dir to add the following entry:

       * m4: (m4).                      A powerful macro processor.

Is something unclear here?  A similar entry is in the id-utils' 
README.dos file.

Please, people, at least give the person who ported a package the benefit 
of a doubt, and do browse those README files: they are there for a reason.
