Have you ever heard of a programme called loadlin? With it you can load
your linux from dos prompt. You must also have kernel image file and:
	C:\> loadlin.exe c:\vmlinuz root=/dev/hdb2 ro
After all you can make menus in your config.sys.
When 95 or nt wipes lilo from bootsector you can always reinstall it.
Just write in linux as root 'lilo' and you have it.
The order of installing is not important, but you must reconfigure lilo to
boot other OSes.
I agree that having a Linux boot disk is very helpful, but having 
loadlin is even better. I have them both...
