As a relative newcomer to C and DJGPP, I would enthusiastically recommend
Emacs. It's a great editor which integrates very nicely with GCC and DJGPP
generally.
Of course, this endorsement should be not be taken as in any way discouraging
anyone from trying or using RHIDE, another fine DJGPP effort. Why not try
both and see which you like best?
