Is the Win32 API not itself under Microsoft copyright? I'm sure
the Windows 95 licence agreement specifically excludes reverse
engineering its code. Surely that in itself prevents anyone
from porting the GNU tools to Win32 as free software. If not,
where can I find a (on-line?) definition of the API and all the
relevant file formats?
Forgive me my ignorance. Please furnish me with knowledge.
