One good book (IMO) is "Introduction to Compiler Construction with UNIX",
Axelt T. Schreiner, H. George Friedman, Jr., Prentice Hall,
ISBN 0-13-474396-2

Also most Unix Programmers Manuals contain chapters on Lex and Yacc.
