It makes it easier to write code. =)

For one thing, you can work more easily on projects with multiple source
files, because of the multiple document interface on the code editor.
For another thing, it has syntax-help. Say you type in "memcpy (" and then
forget which comes first, source or destination, move the cursor over it,
hit ^F1, and if you installed the INFO files you will get the info on memcpy.
For another thing, there is integrated debugging.
And, you can load text files into the RHIDE editor too for reading, such
as library documentation, DJGPP.FAQ, and so forth.
Not to mention, RHIDE won't die with an out of memory error after you
write your 4000th line of code, unlike DOS "edit". =)
