OK, I never read the helps, so I'll explain that:
1) "most text programs" aren't source editors.
2) Borland's IDE is almost equal to RHIDE managing normal blocks (not 
rectangular ones).
3) Let Borland and sarcasms outside.

Well the think is that YOU MUST select the NON-PERSITENT BLOCKS option to get 
the so difunded M$ behaviour of: You select and almost all deselect (and of 
course almost all deletes the selection and replace it with what you made).

I tried to conform to all with the editor options, but please use it!.
For example: I hate tabs and I hate this short live blocks behaviour, but other 
people likes that so is included (just for the record: The options are 
practically copied from BC++ 3.1).
