Subject: ISO "C" violation.

I have DJGPP for the IBM PC, and have noted that fscanf returns
NULL, however, I cannot find a single ISO "C" reference book that
indicates it should do so. The ISO standard demands that it return EOF.
Perhaps it has been standard so long on the UNIX system, they decided not
to change it in order to allow programmers to use older source, without
have to hunt through their programs and replace NULL with EOF when using
fscanf. I'd really appreciate a response, and information on whether or
not I can get a patch to correct this problem.

							Sincerely,
