I should probably put in here that I use DOSKEY all the time and have
never had any conflicts between it and djgpp programs. Certainly not
with it and RHIDE. Since you are curious, here's what all those
programs he mentions do (I've cut out the obvious ones like himem and
command):

Antivirus program.

Everybody should use this; it makes that DOS command line a whole lot
friendlier. :) AFAIK it has no effect whatsoever on programs run from
DOS.

It might be useful to know what brand of mouse driver this is, and what
version.

Network card drivers. I had them loaded all the time on my old machine
(and will again on my new one once I get a net card put in) and never
had any problems with djgpp progs.
