I personally would highly recommend that you use Allegro for games
programming or anything involving a great deal of graphics and
games-like routines (timers, sounds, input, ...) It's a very capable
graphics library. Look for alleg211.zip (I think; there may be a later
version).

DJGPP isn't a program - if you mean gcc, the compiler, then try
running INFO and looking in the gcc section there. Assuming, of
course, that you installed the info file reader and the relevant
docs...
