Oh, yes, it does.  If DJGPP erroneously thinks that a drive supports 
LFN when in fact it doesn't, all file-oriented functions will fail,
because libc calls the LFN functions in that case, and they will all 
return with failure.  Wasn't this whole thread born when you had such 
problems on that OS/2 FAT drive?

It should work.  But I'll be happy to hear any experiences about that.
