I have tried SWORD and it works allright for me. Even I'm thinking of
triying to add some things as kind of practice with C++ (I case I manage
to do that I'd make them avalable, of course :))

If you still can't contact the author I could try to help you. Anyway, I
think that if you follow the instructions of the readme file exactly It
should work, at last it did in my old 386SX!
