Hmm. Last time I checked there wasn't a Win 3.1 version of Gold.
Have they released one now? Not that I want it though.

I wan't meaning to imply that it crashed FROM inactivity, but
rather that it crashes all the time even when inactive.

Well, I've got line wrapping bugs and I'm using 3.01. Perhaps
they didn't fix the "Linux" version? My friend runs '95 and uses
NS301g and he said it works exactly like my Linux version,
complete with bugs (the same ones too). I've since tried it out
myself on his system, and found out that it does crash the same
way. I'm glad I didn't actually *PAY* for it. He did! :o)

If you've read a message, it will be removed from the display if
you switch newsgroups and switch back. There is an option to
disable this behaviour (Options|Show ALL messages, or Show only
unread messages).

I'm using the Linux version of 3.01gold. So, yes it is 32 bit.
Works the same, looks much better though (in Linux). Good thing
is, in Linux when NS crashes, it only hurts itself, not the OS.

<big OS bragging grin>
