Best of getting Visual C++ 4.0 or later, its _too_ much hassle using
any other compiler. (I don't have Watcom, but I have tried Borland. Its
more effort than its worth).  The major problem with the DirectX stuff
and DJGPP is the libraries - they're not too compatible... ;)
