Did you read the sections in the DJGPP FAQ list (18.9-18.11) that explain
these issues?  If not, please read them.  AFAIK, the FAQ also points you
to the available docs that should explain how the information that you
need is available to the handler.  If something is unclear in the docs,
please ask specific questions about that. 

The DJGPP FAQ list is available as v2/faq210b.zip from the same place you 
get DJGPP.
