sorry to crush you but i already found it like 2 months ago now ;) apparently
there are no plans to fix it either as it's incredibly difficult to fix :(
the problem wasn't in rhide 5 but appeared in rhide 6 and now 1 and 1.1 
SET tried to explain to me exactly why the problem was there and neither of us
could think of a simple solution :( perhaps he found one however and is working on
it.
i agree it's a really annoying bug however as i use real tabs all the time, my
suggestion is to use the cursor and pageup/down keys to move through the text. the
problem only seems to be invoked when you click on the tab with the mouse.
