To create librarys,  you'll need to use ar (it's in the bin directory,  
and documented under Binutils in the info files.)
You'll also need everything compiled into object files (use -c for gcc).
The command line I usually use is "ar -ruv {libname} *.o" this seems to 
work. 

I don't know if you can decompile objects,  I think GDB (it's at 
http://www.delorie.com with the rest of DJGPP )can,  but I'm not sure 
about that,  it would be easier to compile the source with the command 
option -a,  which will create an .s file you can read.
