2.7.2.1 is the gcc version, not the djgpp release version. My guess is
that you have an outdated version of djgpp - although I have a feeling
that gcc 2.7.2.1 was first used in djgpp 2.01, so maybe you have
installed 2.01 on top of an older djgpp version, and have some old files
left over? Try unzipping the djgpp 2.01 files in a clean directory (as a
general rule, installing new packages on top of old ones is a dangerous
practice).
