Subject: RHIDE misfeature?

I just upgraded to RHIDE 1.0 and it seems that in some ways it is not
working the same way that the old version I had.
First when I select some text and hit the delete key only the character at
the current cursor position is deleted, in the version I had before the
entire block of text was deleted and that's what I want to do.
Also in the previous version when I double clicked on the title area of
the window it was maximized, which I found kind of helpfull.
When I change something in one of the files in the project and save it and
then hit F9 to make the project I get a message file.exe is up to date.
It used to work in the old version.
Is there some way to get those things working in RHIDE 1.0

Is it also possible to have multiple projects open at the same time?

I do not want to say anything bad about RHIDE, because it is the best ED
for DJGPP programs.
Thanks.
