Has anyone ever ported GUILE to DOS? 

I dled it, but what did I find staring me in the face? A configure
script. Sigh. I tried to manually craft the makefile, but was soon
lost in a maze of Unixisms - what does "tr" do? Or "xargs"??!?!?!
