And of course the ultimate lesson is:
1.  Just download the whole thing.
2.  Blow away the old stuff.

Of course it would be nice if the "whole thing" is available on a CD.  Or
even better, on a CD/book combination.  Maybe an O'Reilly offering on the
line of "Making DJGPP Work" (à la "Making TeX Work").
