People who use gprof to profile DJGPP programs in v2.01, please note that
the stock v2.01 distribution has a bug in the library which will cause
the profiled program to crash for most system configurations. Known
exceptions are: vanilla DOS (no memory manager such as EMM386 or QEMM),
and systems where the memory manager is told to not map the region of the
video RAM which corresponds to the monochrome text.
A workaround and a patch which will fix this bug are available on the
DJGPP bug-tracking system (http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/bugs/), bug
number 126.
