Subject: Need "fancy" trick...

I need to develop a program that will act as a "shell" or kernel to other
applications. Writing an app that hooks an INT for communication between
the shell and application isn't a problem. My sticking point is finding a
good method of *executing* the application within the shell and have the
app still be able to talk to the shell via the interrupt hook for doing
special "system" calls such as graphics drawing, etc.

I'm trying to modernize GEM and if I can pull this little trick off I can
develop an api and kernel that will allow source level compatibility with
existing applications as well as new ones. (And yes, I _am_ crazy. See
sig. *g*)

TIA.
