I don't think it has anything to do with the amount of DPMI memory you 
have (although I'd advise to make more memory available to DPMI 
programs).  I've seen a few reports about Emacs crashes on NT platforms, 
but nobody has yet discovered where does it crash exactly, or found a 
work-around.  If you have some time you can invest in investigating the 
reason for this, please do (I don't have access to NT).
