I know this is off topic but I have a question about 2M.

Lets say that I dont have internet access, and i need to download DJGPP
from my school. I need to download a file that is 1.7m, but i only have
1.44m in size.
Can I format my disks to 1.8m in 2M format and bring them to school and
save the files on the 2M disks. Can I write on a 2m disk without loading
2M itself.

My hard disk just crashed, I no longer have internet access, and i need
DJGPP,
that is why im interested
