Please also read the docs for the library functions mentioned in this 
section.  The FAQ makes a point of telling you where to find details 
about the issues it describes only in part (since obviously the FAQ 
cannot tell everything).

You are clearly not doing this properly.  I'm sure the library docs will 
tell you enough to do it correctly, once you read it.
