Please look up the error message(s) you are getting in the FAQ to see if
it says anything relevant. We can't know what your problem is without
seeing something more than "it doesn't work." If the FAQ doesn't help
please post the error messages, along with the shortest sample program
that makes them occur, and the command line you use to compile. If you
use RHIDE, please say so and tell us the version #. Also, you might
getting ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/alpha/vrfy032a.zip and try it
out on your installation. If it works, please post the results.
Warning: this program is in ALPHA, so don't everybody run and get it.

Finally, you are using an older version of DJGPP. The latest is v2.01,
and should be available from all SimTel mirror sites. You said you got
2.01, but the list of files you downloaded indicates that you still have
the old distribution. The new 'readme.1st' from Simtel
(ftp://ftp.simtel.net/pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/v2/readme.1st) tells you
the names of the new files. When you get the new files, it's a good
idea to get and install cwsdpmi (csdpmi3b.zip) even if you are never
going to use it, because you'll need it if you ever intend to distribute
your programs or run them on other computers. Besides, cwsdpmi is a
better DPMI host than Windows 95.
