i agree with you whole heartedly

gcc under linux is a HELL of alot easier to use than djgpp (too bad my
parents got ahold of the format c: command :( )

since there alot of djgpp specific things (__djgpp_conventional_base in
particular, since i'm playing with vesa stuff), it seems to me it would
be hard to port my code to linux... and also too... i don't think i can
play with vesa in linux (except for maybe the 2.0 protected mode
extensions (function 0x4f0a i believe))

who knows... soon as i reinstall linux i guess i'll find out
