	   I have recently downloaded the PDCurses package ( sources only ) & I would
   like some help on how to compile it for use with DJGPP ( or is there a
   pre-compiled version out there ? ).

There is.  In the DJGPP distribution directory tree.  I think it is in  v2tkt.
